SAMSUNG Z FLIP - DO NOT BUY:

SAMSUNG Z FLIP - DO NOT BUY: Ever wondered why Samsung is over advertising their newly launched Z flip & fold? Everywhere on TV, every mall, every, adverts on Youtube. Its because it's a piece of **** they want to rub off on people! On rare occasions will they fix it. Go on google, search "Samsung Z Flip - Crease crack" and read the reviews before you buy it. I bought my phone in March 2022 I have been unable to use it since 13 Aug 2022. I fold my phone when I place it on charge, it was on my bedside table, on a flat surface, no-one around. When I removed my phone from charge and opened it the crease of the screen was shattered, my wife took the phone and inspected the shattered crease, opening and closing the phone. As she open and closed the phone the shattered glass line expanded and closed again. She pulled the screen protector off to just below the crease to see if maybe its the protector, however it was not! My wife did some research to see if this has happened to other Z Flip phone owners, and came across MULTIPLE complaints, 80% of them with the same story "Remove from charge and then shattered crease" all the devices are under a year old. According to the useless Cell C shop in Galleria Amanzimtoti, the flip can handle 200 000 folds > 4 month old phone couldn't even handle 50 000 folds if it even was that much. I went back to my useless service providers and asked them what to do, one idiot says you get a free screen repair, another gives you false hope and the rest sends you to the Samsung branch directly in Umhlanga. I drove all the way there, and handed in the piece of ******* and asked them to repair the manufacturing issue. The guy behind the counter, took the phone and signed it in. He didn't even ask what happened! Which means they get this query often. When asked if they get it often he said no. The supervisor of the establishment said "I am sure they will fix it" on his way out the door. Only to get a disappointing call two days later "Due to the scratch/dent marks on the BACK of the phone we cannot repair your screen" you want to charge me R9 900 for a screen repair due to the paint of the phone being scratched off on the back of the phone! Not CLOSE to the crease, not affecting or touching the screen in any way! I didn't drop, kick, threw or hit the phone! The little dent, at the back of the phone happened back in April, when the cover I had for my phone slipped off and caused my phone to drop off my lap and onto the floor, but this didn't cause the screen crack as the dent is on the back of the phone, at the bottom half of the phone and the phone was closed. The issues came months later. After I saw the crease is shattered the following day it turned into a black line, the day we handed in the phone the top half of the phone wasn't working and more black lines. If the little dent "Smaller than the head of a need" was the cause, the WHOLE screen would have been cracked not shattered, and not just the crease. If the dent was the reason it would have happened in April not in August. If the dent was the reason I would have gladly paid for it, not blame the manufacturing company. Samsung know they created a **** device, and they created another **** version of it. I tried trading in the broken phone for a new device, willing to start my contract over. Because they already launched the Z Flip 4, they cannot trade in the phone for it full value!! Once again I am stuck with a useless phone, paying a service provider money every month for a service no longer available to me. I hate Samsung, I understand now why my wife moved to Huawei, she warned me Samsung make their screens sensitive so that it shatters or breaks even with a screen protector because that is how they make their money. I am currently using a Blackview phone, dual sim card phone with amazing durability, my next phone is an IPhone or Huawei, I had enough of the issues with Samsung. They do not care for their clients, they don't care about the service their franchises provide and they don't care for manufacturing issues. They have no intentions of improving their products. Samsung lost a very loyal client!

5 Days later and still no feedback. My mother is switching from Samsung to Huawei, my sister in law, Brother and Aunt is switching to IPhone. Samsung is losing my whole family, and all of them were loyal service providers. Samsung keeps giving the same copy & paste automated response. They don't get back to you.
