Samsung x cover 4s - total let down

I bought the Samsung X cover 4s with its advertised military 810G spec and within 2 months it fell from my bedside table onto a laminate wooden floor and the case cracked right where the power button is. I wished to return it. I sent it to the retailer I bought it through and it was then assessed by Samsung and Samsung failed to honour their warranty stating it was abuse!! I kept the phone and filled the crack with silicone and acquired a case since I no longer trusted that this was indeed a rugged phone. The xcover 3 I had before it was an absolute gem and still working after 9 years!! A few more cracks formed in the plastic case (despite the rubber case!) Then it had its very first 5 second dunking in water this week. Lo and behold I took it to a repair shop and they said they suspect water got onto the mother board and they wont risk opening it for fear of cracking the screen. Very disapointed in this Samsung xcover 4s as well as Samsung's handling of my initial complaint. If you want a rugged waterproof phone I will definitely not recommend the samsung xcover 4s
