"Samsung we dont give a damn" we will just blame it on you

<p>i own a samsung J1 purchased for a princely sum of R1500.00 on a telkom mobile deal. after 13 months of ownership the phone developed a 3.5cm crack in the LCD screen under the glass. Telkom has informed me that samsung will not cover the repair as they dont cover j series phones. and i will need to pay for the repairs myself approx R1200.00. So i contacted samsung directly and they gave me the same story, they will accept the phone for repairs but i will need to pay for it. According to samsung the crack in the screen is my fault as they claim i have dropped the phone on its back,which I clearly know is untrue.</p> <p> </p> <p>i have now got my wits end with Samsung they havent even bothered about coming back to me ref no. ********** 260.</p> <p> </p> <p>i was really keen to purchase a new samsung S but after all this drama with them i think i will change to LG or Huawei. </p>
