SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINE - POOR QUALITY

We purchased a brand new Samsung washing machine from Hirsch's in Centurion in December 2014. We have had a Bosch washing machine for the last 8 years, and never had any problems, and our daughter is now using it, still without problems. The sales lady convinced us that this Samsung is far superior, as we wanted to buy a Bosch again. 3 Months later the door started leaking, and we called Hirsch's who promised that someone will attend to the problem. Last week a technician came to our house, had one look, and told us that we had damaged the rubber. We asked him how that could have happened, and he told us that by removing washed clothes from the drum, will cause the rubber to tear - so we should carefully remove each washed item - ensuring it doesn't touch the rubber. We told him that we remove the clothes from the drum exactly like we have done all these years - and without such problems with our previous machine - His answer - THINGS ARE NOT MADE THE SAME TODAY - THAT'S WHY YOU ONLY GET A 2 YEAR WARRANTY - IT WILL ONLY LAST 2 YEARS OR LESS - and we have to pay R 1000.00 FOR A NEW RUBBER.
