Samsung Warranty not mentioned on box
Hi

I bought a Samsung UA48H6400 on the 05/12/2014. Great TV/product. I only use the TV about once every 1 or 2 weeks. Still has its plastic on the sides as I almost never use it. When I wanted to use it about +-2-3 weeks back the remote just did not want to work.

Tested the remote with 5x sets of batteries to see and tried to sync it again but this is not the problem. The remote did not fall and has no loose parts in it. What I do notice is that when batteries are in the remote it heats up. Now to me that seems to then be a manufacturing fault as why would this happen. The adverti*****t from the store mentioned the tv has 24months warranty and the Samsung box itself also says 24months. When I contacted Samsung they said to call Liptronics. Liptronics said but the remote only has 6 months warranty on it???? Why not mention that on your box then. I would understand if it fell but the smart remote only came out in 2014 I think and already has issues. After waiting almost 1-2weeks now they tell me it will cost quite a bit to replace.

This is my second Samsung Product breaking in a year. Samsung S3 mainboard replaced 2x and battery also. Can someone please sort this.
