SAMSUNG - Vouchers - Not all its made out to be!!!

Samsung - offers the vouchers for purchasing their products, with a "Buy and Get" promotion, we chose the Comair Flights with R 4000 in vouchers and registered everything in time. We were given our pin number on 12 December 2017, and you then have a year in which to use these vouchers. I went ahead and sent my pin to Comair and gave them the flights which they proceeded to book for me. Samsung then decides to advise Comair that my pin has expired. I should have used this pin by 9 November 2018. However when reading the rules of the competition, and knowing where and when we had to book our flights by, we received our pin on 12 December 2017, giving us a year to use these vouchers. How do you explain a voucher expiring on 9 November 2018 when we got our pin from Samsung on 12 December 2017 .. I have submitted proof of this, as well as sent emails directly to Samsung, unfortunately Comair has been told not to hand out contact details of the people at Samsung making these decisions. On this basis, I thought I would escalate this as I have now read many other complaints on the same issues with Samsung and their Vouchers.. Samsung, we have been a loyal customer of yours with many of your appliance in our home.. Your failure to honour a voucher is a poor show on your behalf, and you need to do what is right! I am first to understand that if I didn't register in time, or if I didn't use my voucher in time, it would be forfeited, but now I have a chance of losing my flights.. Do the right thing!!!

Samsung your quick automated response to keep your name in the clear is of no assistance to me.. If your call agent dealing with Comair on the Samsung Voucher had just bothered looking at the dates and the proof that I gave them, then we wouldn't have been in this social media predicament.. I need my problem resolved, I don't need a fancy "Social Media" keep my happy response,,,

I just had a call from Samsung Rewards voucher section, after I called their ********** 346 number, and was told that they send an SMS confirming the reward on 9 November 2017.. I did not receive this SMS and have yet to receive proof of this sms. So Samsung uses the date on which your supposed SMS is received telling you that you can now claim an award, to the date as to which you register your award with the airline or whoever we chose. So I chose Comair and this SMS pin code was sent to us on 12 December 2017, and its the only pin code via sms that we have received.. Yet the arrogance of the call centre staff is that the other code which we didn't receive via SMS, and their contract clearly states "Pin Code via SMS" - I only registered my reward in December... Samsung is still arguing with me!!!! On 12 Dec 2017, at 13:04, Waseema ********** wrote: Dear Customer Thank you for your email. Congratulations on claiming your reward with Samsung! Please allow 7-10 working days for voucher/vouchers to be generated. You will then receive an SMS with a voucher code to make your requested bookings for redeemed prize. Please note all vouchers are valid for 1 year. For any further queries please call Samsung Buy and Get on ********** . Many Thanks The Samsung Buy and Get Team

So Samsung have taken a week to get to the final point of telling me that they will not approve my voucher.. In this time I have lost my flights, which I could have paid for if they were upfront about how their vouchers worked.. So although I got my voucher on 13 December 2017 and I booked my flights before this date, they take the date as to when you register your R 4000 voucher as to what you want.. I wanted the Comair flights, and this voucher only got to me on 13 December 2017, the registration date was November 2017, so a month is forfeited, because it takes them a month to issue a voucher code... (Again poor show) and you don't get a clear response as to why your voucher code is not approved, and to date I am still waiting for my email from Samsung or Buy and Get as to why I am not getting my voucher.. they do not want to put this in writing to me, as they don't want to face the consequences of their bad consumer behaviour.. I had to phone them a number of times this week to follow up, after they told me that it was escalated, and that buy and Get would get back to me... Well today is a week later and still no response from this so called Buy and Get team to give me my letter that its not awarded, only a call a wekk ago before I escalated this to HelloPeter…. Samsung you are doing your brand no favours!!!

Its amazing how within minutes of posting this previous message, I get a call from Samsung to tell me they will send me the letter I have requested. Yet when I called them yesterday to remind them that its now two days since I haven't heard nothing back from them, I was told that they made their decision and that BUY and GET would be informing me of their decision.. Bheka from Samsung would not send this email to me or any correspondence.. Now all of a sudden he wants my email address.. What has happened to all my emails to them, now they don't have my email address.... SAMSUNG, POOR SHOW, POOR EFFORT, NO FEEDBACK, NO FURTHER BUSINESS FROM ME!!!!
