Samsung UI8 Software *******ion.

So we buy premium brand products for them to self-destruct. I has a Samsung S22 and a S24 and yesterday as i return home the S22 does the famous auto UI update. I leave if to do its thing and once its done i put the phones pin code in as requested but the phone and it starts up and WHAT its back to the pin request and i go and put in the pin requested again well to my ever so great surprise it askes me this well it still is that is the sum total of what the phone does after the UI8 update was done. I take it to vodacom as they are my service provider asking for help the lady stops me in my tracks and says that's a issue that they will have to erase all data oh and send it await as it will have to go to a Samsung service centre. So it would be better to just take it there myself . Well i do just that and go to the service centre and show the lady the issue was and the recurring pin request that has happened since the UI8 update. she then says i will have to pay them a fee as they have to work on it and i am ****ed as the phone is in perfect condition and its the ui8 software thar has messed it up and i say ok go ahead and one hour later i get told the ui8 has *******ed the hard drive or something to that effect and well the phone is now no longer working all because of a ui8 software update. i called Samsung to get assistance or hell something but get put through to people that have no skills talking to clients who put phones down in the client's ear put you on hold and then drop the calls acting like they don't hear you. I have had to explain this to several call centre agents as they do not take notes, and the Service centre never gave me a stitch of documentation saying that they have taken the phone in. yet we pay premium prices for the S Series and get treated like **** and well i am now without a phone and lost all my data that i can't replace thanks to a UI8 software update that I had no control over and Samsung will somehow not take responsibility for .

Sorry This is ridiculous. You service centre called me saying that the mother board was *******ed and will be needing to be replaced and it was due to the ui8 update. Oh and that will cost about R10 000.00 once again not me fault and yet i am sitting here without a phone. and Samsung plays police man with the investigations they are doing that will take two years and cost me my sanity cause i have to deal with rude staff.
