Samsung TV's are made to last 2 years at most.

I purchased a Samsung 50-inch TV in February 2021. The TV started malfunctioning in in July 2024 only a few months after the warranty expired. The tv is now totally broken with no picture. I am a pensioner and only used the TV to watch my daily soapies. While I appreciate that the warranty has expired, this is a manufacturing defect and definitely not a wear and tear issue. The technician confirmed that many Samsung customers have experienced similar issues with their TV's. I have written to Samsung about a week ago, but they did not even have the decency to respond to my request.

Reviewer Update
Received a call from Samsung today that they will not cover the cost of any repairs.

Interestingly, when I questioned them about the factory defect, they explained that their ‘expert’ technicians assessed the tv and confirmed that no factory defects were detected and the tv comp**** to their quality standards.

The actual “assessment” only consisted of pressing the on button. The technician probably had telepathic powers to confirm that the tv had no factory defects.

When I asked what caused the malfunction if it was not a factory defect, they admitted that they still have to test the tv to determine that.

The main takeaway from this experience is that Samsung does not care about the quality standard of their products and is willing to lie about assessments to weasel their way out of paying for repairs. Buyers beware!
