Samsung TV UHD LED - DON'T BUY

I have a Samsung 70" UHD LED that is now 3 years old, actually bought a Samsung because I had the view that even with Samsung's higher pricing quality will be good. But the TV went dead, I called Samsung Technical they referred me straight to MM ALL Technical (no help from Samsung) had to pay MM ALL R870.00 to come and assess the TV and was told the TV screen packed up will cost close to R11 000.00 to replace. Obviously that's crazy.....the TV only lasted 3 years. I am very aware of the risks with this type of equipment ...and are using UPS with surge arrestor.....could not have been anything external that caused it.

I will not buy Samsung again...no quality and no service..the only thing high with Samsung is the pricing.

I've now bought a Hisense 70" UHD LED at a lower cost than repairing the 3 year old Samsung and the Hisense comes with 4 year warranty.

Very disappointing to have learned such an expensive lesson for myself....I always recommened Samsung to other people...will definitely discourage that now

PS: Does anybody know how to get rid of a 3year old 70" LED that would have been still great if it wasn't a Samsung....the screen packed up for no reason.
