Samsung TV is disposable after 24 months

In July 2012 I bought a Samsung (TV and Big Microwave),in 2014 June I bought a Samsung Cell phone<br> <br> The TV just started showing a thick white line in the middle of the screen and a faded picture(27/11/15). I took it to Samsung with confidence and the employees where shocked that it lasted beyond 24months.They indicated that its designed to last 24months yet I bought it on a 24months account. I was informed that should I want it fixed I should pay R7065 since it was after warranty(24months). Meanwhile other brands with 4yrs warrant are going for R4500<br> <br> I bought the microwave for R1200 and in less than a year it was not working. On taking it for repairs I was told that it would need R2000.<br> <br> The cell phone battery started swelling and fortunately the shop managed to replace the battery.<br> <br> Regards<br> <br> Gerald
