Samsung Tab S 10.5\ screen replacement query"
I recently cracked my tablet screen due to a low soft drop. Everything works fine i.e. viewing, touch screen - it's just the screen that cracked. I then enquired with Samsung walk-in centre and it's not part of the warranty and will cost me R3700! I then contacted Samsung customer service help-line by filling out an online form and explained what happened and how could such a so called premium device be built with such poor quality. On response, which I had already did - taking it to the walk-in centre, there was no option to reply or escalate the problem. I had to go through the entire online process again - as if it was a new query! Nonethless i did it further explaining and on their second response they could only give me the same answer - to take it to one of their walk-in centres and even though they mentioned they will escalate it there was still no way of replying, only a ref. nr. yet be used for another online form, which i'm def. not doing again. So in short for my query on my poorly built (expensive) device i got a poorly built customer service (closed) system. As if it's 80% automated replies and 20% actual concern. Expected much more from a company like SAMSUNG.
