Samsung Service Centre Grove Mall - Pretoria - Absolutely Useless!
What a Rip-Off from Samsung Grove Mall in Pretoria. I took my Samsung to them to do a damage report because I'd accidentally dropped a heavy object on the phone and cracked the screen, and could not access any aspects of the phone's functionality. I reported to my insurer. They asked me to go to my service provider to get a damage report. I went to my Mobile service provider. They had no technicians. Referred me to Samsung Service Centre at Grove Mall, and (i) had very slow service from about 4 young people (3 women; 1 man) who were just sitting and doing nothing - waited to be served for about 15 minutes (no-one else in there); (ii) when I saw someone he was not very friendly, and told me I had to pay R450 for a damage report. I paid for the report, which was to be sent to me 24 hrs later. What they sent was a joke. No analysis, no assessment of impact on workings of the phone. Just confirmed that the phone was cracked. Then gave a quote for repair. I didn't ask for the latter. Just wanted a damage report for insurance. Their damage report consisted of following:" Samsung phone fell and cracked screen". They didn't even get the facts right. No testing done of the phone, no explanation of the absence of functionality. What a useless service centre staffed by useless people.
