Samsung sells devices marketed for sports use but they simply can't do what they are 'designed' to do.

I can't believe I'm back here again, Samsung repaired my watch after a complaint was logged on hello Peter. And rightfully so too my watch failed after normal use of features that it's designed to be used for. (I run with it and go to the gym with it) Previously I was told that my sweat got into the device and corroded the motherboard battery and screen. As result I had these replaced by Samsung at wefix in canal walk. (It took over a month to sort out) but in the end I was happy to have my watch back and with everything that was replaced it was basically a new watch.

I received it back in June 2018 and was told by wefix that the repairs have a 12 month warranty. On the 23rd of October I went for a run with the watch and when I returned I noticed that the power button would respond when pressed, then the watch started restarting itself over and over again.

At that point I went straight to wefix but on my way there the watch suddenly started working normally. I described my problem to the clerk who again confirmed that I had a 12 month warranty and told me to come back if any thing else happened.

The following day my watch wouldn't switch on at all, I took it back to wifix where I was now told that suddenly the 12 month warranty I was informed of previously was now a 3 month warranty and I was outside of this warranty period. I gave the watch in for assessment and received a quotation of R1899.00 to replace the motherboard. The same motherboard that was replaced 4 months prior.

The quote sent to me from wefix lists the error as : other:no power

When asked what this means no one can tell me....no one at wefix can tell my why the watch won't switch on. Am I the only person that sees a problem here? Was the repair up to standard? Was an original motherboard replaced? How convenient is it that all of a sudden my warranty is decreased from 12 months from 3 months and my fault occurs on the 4th month. What was the point of repairing my watch to start with only for it to fail only 4 months later and fail in a far worse way than it did originally. Previously it would at least switch on now it won't even do that.

This is false advertising by Samsung and very poor repair work or replacement parts by a Samsung accredited repairer. I am so disappointed by my Samsung gear s3 frontier it's unbelievable! What makes this worse Is that I could not have looked after it better than I did I use it track my gym activities and running something it's designed to do but it still failed.

How, is it so poorly built that a user can't use it for what it was made to do?

I feel cheated, and **** to by a company that I believed in and trusted, what is the point of doing the right thing by a long standing customer only for them to be in a worse situation in 4 months time.

Here are all my reference numbers: Previous complaint: ********** 334 1st Wefix repair:CWSA075050 Samsung: ********** 290 2nd Wefix repair: CWSA138572

I've also attached the quote received from wefix with the reported error of :other no power.

Samsung have declined assisting me with my faulty watch, absolutely disgusting service from them. Do yourself a favour and never ever buy any Samsung products none of them live up to what they are marketed as. Samsung advertises falsely, exercise watch my rear quarters I'm switching to Apple
