Hi Albert Thank you for the email. As discussed on the 28th, you said that the phone failed as a result of liquid entry, which caused damage resulting in the touch function not working. Upon questioning both you and your technician about the liquid entry and asking to show me proof, you both confirmed that there are no signs of liquid inside the phone but because the connector looks corroded, you advised that it was caused by liquid entry. Looking at the photos the connector looks broken. This phone has been opened twice before, the first time by the same technician who fitted incorrect parts, which was confirmed by one of your agents over a recorded call, and the second time by the same technician who carry out the rework. You further confirmed that there is no other signs of liquid or corrosion inside the phone accept for the touch function connector. The touch function connector is very small and is placed next to other components, that would have also corroded, should there have been liquid entry. To my knowledge if there was liquid entry which resulted in the failure you would have found this liquid, substance and even residue inside the phone, yet there was nothing found. During my visit to your repair center i saw that the technician was carrying out repairs without using safe gloves for electronic repair works, you can even see in the photos that you attached that the components are being handled without the use of gloves.I will be including this information in an affidavit together with confirmation that i did not expose this phone to Liquid which you claim caused this damage. My assumption is that your technician is responsible for this failure as he was not using gloves at the time of carrying out this repair as the perspiration from his hands and fingers contaminated this component, eventually leading to this so called corrosion.I am certain that the cameras in the repair center would also confirm this act of negligence. Please provide the following: - Amend your report to include the cause of failure of liquid entry, which you confirmed again when i called you for the email. - Send me the repudiation letter confirming that the warranty claim was declined which must include the cause of failure, the resultant damage, the details of Samsung complaints and the details of the relevant Ombudsman. - Your technicians qualifications confirming that he is competent to carry out these repairs. -Advise why wasn't the technician using gloves and carrying out electronic repairs.
