Samsung S5 Waeer Damage

I am really disappointed that I have to revert to this type of approach today!
But with absolute no joy from Samsung SA in 5 weeks , I need alternative ways. I have made numerous calls to Samsung , speaking to managers: Innosence, Siyabonga and am still waiting for Sylvester Tablala, VOC manager, to return four(4) messages left for him over the last 2 weeks.

I bought a Samsung S5 end of last year with the understanding that it is waterproof. Agents from 3 different stores in Jhb recommended this phone and all web research indicated that it is waterproof with IP67 and IP68 ratings. It is also stated in their booklets that is has been tested for 30 mins at 1m depth and still functioned well.

On a recent trip to Bosnia, I dropped my phone in 30cm of water and got it out of the water within 15 sec's.
Now my phone has water damage. Samsung SA now says that the phone is not waterproof , but only splash proof and that the repair cost is for my own account. Can somebody please explain to me where 'splash' comes in at 1m depth for 30 minutes. Don't worry , neither can Samsung!

Can someone from Samsung PLEASE get back to me to resolve my claim. Ref ***.This was false advertising
