Samsung Rewards S8aroundSA Promotion

I upgrade my cellphone to a SAMSUNG Galaxy S8 phone and was toldI automatically qualify for an MSC cruise voucher worth R4000. The MSC promotion appears in my Rewards screen on my phone with a serial number, code, status AVAILABLE and expiry date 15-12-2018. The promotion states that the phone had to be purchased between 1-11-2017 and 15-12-2017 which we did and that we had until 15-12-2018 to redeem cruise. I have now been told that because I didn’t redeem the cruise within the promotion period we do not qualify. I am extremely disappointed as this was far from clear. I purchased the phone within the promotion period and should be entitled to the promotion promised.
