Samsung Refuses to Replace My Refrigerator

Samsung is refusing to exchange my refrigerator. The ice maker malfunctioned on the fridge and caused the earth leakage to trip. This is in turn caused tripped the plugs, switching the fridge and other appliances off. The meat that was in the fridge spoiled as the fridge got hotter over time. When I returned to my place there was maggots, flies and dried blood everywhere with the horrid smell I have ever encountered in my life. It was as though something was decomposing in the fridge. No amount of cleaning sorted out the issue. Maggots keep crawling out of the back of the fridge and from behind the panels inside it. The smell does not dissipate. Samsung sent out a technician who said that the ice maker was faulty in the unit and that's what caused the electricity to trip. I took various photos and videos of him connecting and disconnecting the electricial component for the ice maker which immediately caused the electricity to trip. He said that he could only get 1 of 2 panels inside the fridge to open as the other one would crack since it had expanded due to the heat. Maggots were crawling out from behind the one he managed to get open. The technician said that he recommended an exchange of the refrigerator rather than fixing the ice maker as it would be inhumane to expect anyone to use a fridge that constantly had maggots crawling out of it and a smell that seeped into anything kept inside it as that could be a potential health hazard. Samsung does not agree with their own technician. I got a call this morning from Samsung saying that they do not approve the exchange their Samsung approved technician recommended. Rather, they want to send out a different repairman to check the model number for the part that needs to be repaired. In essence, they are saying that they expect me to use the fridge in its current state. Samsung expects me to put food that is for human consumption into a refrigerator that has maggots cralwing out of it and a smell so rancid that even an apple placed inside it for an hour comes out smelling and tasting horrible. Food absorbs odors. I'm not sure if they only care about their bottom line or if they are actively antagonizing their customers. The fridge malfunctioned due to a faulty part on a fridge that's still under warranty. That fault caused the plugs to trip due to tripping the earth leakage. This started the domino effect that I am now dealing with. The fridge is effectively a cupboard now. I haven't had a fridge the entire January. I couldn't even grt through to Samsung in December as they were closed. This is a crazy experience. Foretold is forewarned and I am warning anyone reading this to think twice before buying an item as expensive as a fridge from Sansung because it seems their company has no interest in helping customers out.
