Samsung refuse to send a technician

I called their call centre to report a problem with my brand new Samsung dishwasher. Samsung refused to help me because as a woman I cannot pull the machine out from under the counter to give them my serial number. Finally, we managed, with great effort, to get the serial number. Samsung still refuse to send a technician saying we need to troubleshoot over the phone. The machine is still under guarantee and warranty, but Samsung refuses to help me.
