Samsung promotion not delivered
There are plenty of competing smartphone brands on the market these days, with the gaps between these devices (or shall I say -at least the low to medium spec devices) constantly reducing. Cheers to that and cheers to having more options!
As the landscape continues to change, it becomes all the more diffucult to differentiate products from each other, especially once the 'silver writing' and price tag has been removed, yet for Samsung South Africa the penny seems not to have dropped as yet.
They think their brand is so ironclad that multiple damning reviews and unhappy customers won't harm them. There were many giants before..
Need I then write yet another review of how promises were made and not delivered on, stating the facts, dates and times (like many other reviews out there)?
Well then, here goes:
Advertised promotion: take out a new contract on the Sumsung Galaxy A35 and get earbuds and a smart watch for free, with compliments of Samsung.
The date this claim was registered: 4 December 2024
Total number of follow up emails sent to Samsung to inquire why this has not been delivered yet as stated, within 7-14 days: 3
Total number of calls: 4
Responses: 0
Time lapsed since deal was done: almost two full months!
Still no resolve..

A generic response was received from Samsung the very next day (27 January) -as a public reply- and again, that was just where everything then stopped. No further action, communication or delivery has been seen since.
Soon it will mark three months from the date on which the deal was signed and yet still no trace of any of the promotional items that were advertised and supposed to have been included with their phone.
I have written to Samsung (again) on the 5th of February with no response received back from them (..again..).
I would like to warn the public about this! Do not fall victim to Samsung South Africa false advertising and don't at all be misled by thinking that a 'reputable' international brand won't operate like this- rather read the many reviews that have now been written on them
by many disappointed customers and steer clear of this and of being in exactly the same scenario!
