Samsung Promotion - Buy and Get. Not Win. GET!

I bought a Samsung dishwasher from GAME Menlyn during Sept / Oct 2015; This dishwasher was on promotion and therefore came with a limited offer - as an incentive for buying this product, I (as the buyer) would receive 2 nights of free accommodation at any Protea Hotel in SA! All I had to do to redeem this reward was to log onto the www.buyandget.co.za website & submit my receipt and product details (I had to enter the details appearing on my receipt and upload a photo in support of the serial number of the item purchased). I did this on the 1st of November 2015. Around the 20th of November 2015 I received a call from buyandget, notifying me that the picture I uploaded onto their website was not of sufficient quality - suggesting that they were unable to process my request to redeem this reward. I proceeded to send through a new, high-quality, picture to *** on the 20th of November. My hopes were high... however 6 months down the line I still haven't heard anything back from BuyandGet OR Samsung regarding my reward. I tried to make contact with "Aimee-Lee" again subsequent to the above date - however her email account has been deactivated, leading me to a dead end. Could it be that this was some kind of **** implemented by the retailer (GAME)?
