Samsung Poor Service

battery on S7 overheated and damaged the phone. the callcenter had me on hold for 15 min, only to tell me to go to a repair center and subsequently directed me to the incorrect one at first. the phone is in warranty, but i still received a quote to replace the screen and bezel, which was not damaged by the battery?? they stated that the phone has to be repaired to the original state and tested to be water resistant. all i want is that Samsung return my phone to its original condition prior to the battery overheating damage.
