Samsung - Pathetic
I purchased a Note 20 on the 27th of September 2020 with the Samsung 32" HD TV promotion. I completed all the relevant online forms and received a call yesterday (17/11/2020 - almost 2 months later) stating that I do not qualify for the promotion because I do not have a valid TV License on my name. The clarify this, we have one valid TV License in our household. Surely not every adult living in a household needs to have their own TV License. I submitted my nephews TV License details (he resides with me) and now I do not qualify for the promotion. This was not mentioned to me by the salesman when I purchased the cellphone. If I knew this at the time of purchasing the Note 20 - I would have rather opted for an IPhone or similar. Samsung uses these promotions to sell their products but does not fulfill their commitment. The service and feedback from the people that I have dealt with is pathetic. I will never purchase another Samsung ever again and I urge everyone not to fall victims to Samsung's ****s.
