Samsung note 5

Hi.

I took my phone to samsung in carnival mall to get my samsung note 5 fixed.it was sent in and 3 weeks later received a call to pick up my phone, so I did. When I received my phone I was told "you have to pay R3200 due to warranty that has expired" and I refused as the guy that helped me book my phone in didn't say anything regarding the warranty even though he checked my proof of purchase. Apparently the warranty only lasts for 1 year.so upon refusing to pay, the guy asked what the problem was with ny phone and explained in details what the problem was.He said they are going to install my old screen again, which by the way was working fine even though it was cracked, they said I must come back in an hour and so I did.after receiving my phone with my so called screen I found that in fact it wasn't even my screen and my phone is now completely dead.So now im paying a contract for a note 5 but dont even have the phone im paying for....Im on the verge of never ever taking a samsung into my home again and I use to have the worlds respect for them and now its all gone.
