Samsung Note 20 Pre Order Promotion E Voucher.
Like a lot of other people, I too have been having a miserable experience trying to get my Note 20 pre-order voucher. I pre-ordered my device on the 20th August. After delays from Incredible Connection (which I was told was a delay from Samsung's side) I received my device on the 28th August. I then proceeded to do the claim as soon as I switched my new device on and was able to find the redemption form on the Samsung Members App. After that I received an email with a tracking number and information stating I will receive feedback from Samsung within the next 48-72 hours. On Tuesday 1 September, I contacted Samsung for an update as I started noticing people were battling to get their e-vouchers, but was told that all my documents was received and I must wait as it was still within the 72 hours. Wednesday came and I still had not heard anything back. I then phoned again. After I had spoken to 3 people at Samsung I was told that I needed a different invoice (which I was never made aware of during the 72 hours and no one had contacted me, I only found this out by contacting Samsung). I asked how long it will take after I e-mail this invoice and was told I will get an e-mail back from Samsung informing me how long it will take. I then proceeded to contact Incredible Connection regarding this required invoice and after numerous calls and e-mails I received the required invoice at 10:00 on Thursday 3 September. I forwarded the invoice through to the person at Samsung that asked for it immediately after I received it. About 20 minutes later she rep**** back stating it is the right invoice and they will be validating it. 06 September and obviously I am still waiting for communication from Samsung. I have e-mailed, I have phoned, I have done everything that was requested from my side but no one can tell me anything regarding my e-voucher. It is now day 9. Well past the promised 72 hours of Samsung. This is very unprofessional conduct from an international company like Samsung. Plainly put, it is false advertising from Samsung. I have always been a loyal Samsung customer and want to get what was advertised and sold to me as the benefit for doing a pre order. Samsung has underperformed and under delivered across the board.

I am assuming this too will take a week or longer to get any constructive communication from Samsung?
Looking through the posts it seems like this is the norm for Samsung SA, to treat their customers with very little regard and care?? Samsung SA makes promises and has no intention of keeping them. Samsung’s Vision Statement for 2020 is “Inspire the World, Create the Future”. Well Samsung you have inspired many customers to refrain from being Samsung Customers at all and jump ship to other brands, and you are definately creating a future of being a brand known for nothing but unsatisfied customers and a no care attitude towards resolving customer complaints speedily and efficiently! Numerous customers are complaining about the same problem, so it is safe to say that the problem lies with Samsung SA.
I don't want to, nor should I, wait for Samsung to get back to me anymore, I want what I paid for. I want what was agreed to on the online “contract” myself and Samsung entered into. I pay you for a pre order package and device and you give me that. You got everything you requested from my side. Including my money, you did not have to wait for. It was not escalated or put on hold. It was paid immediately when I purchased your product. I suggest you start treating your customers with the respect they deserve and give you, and take responsibility in the part that you have to play. A part that is legally binding and to put it frankly you are in breach of. I am certain that the Consumer Protection Act is not something Samsung flouts? I am not new to this and understand that things can happen and problems do pop up, but this is clearly not a one time situation and I am disgusted by how you treat your customers by over promising and under delivering.
