Samsung not taking responsibility
Good day,

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE on a Vodacom Contract on 29/10/2014. (Receipt available)

I soon realised that I generally tend to work from my laptop rather than the Tablet, which meant that the tablet is hardly used and in brand new condition.

I recently experienced charging issues on the device and took it to Samsung Smart Care at Century City, I was told that they will inspect the device and revert back with a report. After numerous phone calls and 3 weeks later I was told that the repairs quotation would be mailed to me. I then received a quote for R3306.00 to repair a device that is 11 months old, hardly used and with no signs of physical or liquid damage (confirmed by Chris the manager).
I was told that the PC and sub PC board is blown and there is nothing they can do to assist me with a warranty claim??

So my question / objection is, how can this be allowed? Surely a product of this value should be repaired at no charge given its age and physical condition?
