Samsung not helping (Samsung Phone & Watch) - Whatsapp

Around 18 December 2025 the Whatsapp on my Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 suddenly stopped working, complaining that this version of Whatsapp (on Galaxy Wear OS) is now obsolete and needs updating. If I click the UPDATE button, nothing happens.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled around 10 times - no success. Trying to link my Watch 7 with my Samsung A34 mobile fails every time. When I clear the Cache on both devices, the phone actually displays the 8 character code on BOTH devices, but when clicking the pairing buttons, the devices go into an endless loop until the Watch displays an error message (no code) and a QUIT button.

I have probably reset the watch far more than 8 times, even uninstalling the WEAR OS App on my phone and starting all over as if my Watch is a new device. No luck. ALL the other Apps work faultlessly, but only WhatsApp fails to open and link.

My only deduction can be that the Wear WhatsApp must have some bug. I have spent days trying to solve, reading everything I could on the Internet and even visiting the Samsung shop at Clearwater Mall.
