Samsung mobile care
Hello Peter
I have a complaint about Samsung as a brand, my dad bought a Samsung (Galaxy S8+) 7 weeks ago at a third party service provider (MTN Wonderpark Mall) he was never informed about Samsung mobile care which is a service you need to register for to cover the screen and battery in case of an accident.
Well guess what? 7 weeks into it his screen broke, we took a trip to Samsung (Menlyn mall) and we were told about Samsung mobile care only then, the guy at Menlyn dismissed us because we are not registered. So how does Samsung advertise feel free to unbox your phone? My dad unbox' his phone that's over R10 000 and only when it broke he was informed about registration of mobile care.
Now MTN and SAMSUNG need to properly work together in ensuring that their clients get all the info that is needed to freely unbox their phone. Paying R1000 p/m for a phone is not cheap, so Samsung and MTN going an extra mile to inform clients shouldn't be that difficult.
