Samsung mall of africa cant decide on a price

Went into the mall of africa samsung store to buy 2 type c adapters, being assisted by someone called Christopher i was asked if i know the price of the items to which raised my suspicion because why should i be able to tell you the price of the item you are selling? As we went to the till he told the cashier the price of my items which was R400 per adapter, as i was standing waiting to pay my curiosity got the better of me and i searched their website for the products, R275 for the exact same thing! After raising my concerns with the cashier she just told me as the guy who helped me. So after these events when i got home i contacted the store again to question why the price discrepancy for this product is so high and i believe i spoke to the same representative who had helped me in the store earlier who then told me their list price for the item is now all the sudden R499 like ***, so the same product at the same store has 3 prices? Right so please ensure you know the price they charge for the product before even going close to the shop as it seems they just make prices up as they go!
