Samsung Maintenance Service has been atrocious

I have a Gear Fit2 Pro that I purchased for my swimming exercises. 2 months before the warranty expired my watch stopped working so I took it to the repair center on the 13th of December. After 3 WEEKS of chasing them with NO solutions, they informed me that my watch had "water damage" but that my warranty covered the repairs.

Considering that the watch was designed to be used for swimming (their website still has the image of a swimmer wearing the watch and advertises the SpeedoOn app), I thought that since the warranty covered the repairs I was NOT in breach of the warranty. So, if the watch received water damage, then it was a factory defect, so I wanted it replaced, NOT repaired, as I purchased a watch that works!

When I followed up with Samsung, I have been given the run-around for 2 weeks, waiting for people to call me and email me that never do, and I have to keep chasing it.

Finally I was told that "the water damage was due to water pressure". The more they give me info, the more it sounds that somebody is shifting blame and that is NOT what I expect from SAMSUNG service.

All my devices are SAMSUNG, and I have always been one of their best supporters, but the way I've been treated as a customer has been atrocious. My whole swimming team has decided to return all their SAMSUNG watches and switch to HUAWEI.
