Samsung Gear S3 frontier
Hi Denolin
Please send me the Samsung customer department email address. I am utterly disappointed that Samsung have not accepted responsibility for damaging these expensive watches with their firmware update which are automatically implemented by Samsung. Within warrantee or not, the watch was in perfect working order until the Samsung implemented firmware damaged my property. I do not accept that this is legal in South Africa or acceptable in terms of the Consumer Act.
Furthermore I attach this link of 38 pages of US customer complaints relating to the same firmware update causing battery life degradation: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/wearabletech/thread-id/17577/page/38
I own a Samsung Galaxy note 8, 3 Samsung TV’s and this Gear watch and after this despicable display of customer accountability I will in future be avoiding all Samsung products. This issue has nothing to do with warrantee but rather is reminiscent of what Apple did to old Apple phone batteries. This this not end well for Apple either.
Please get the heat of Samsung SA electronics to take accountability for the damage the firmware update has caused to my watch. I expect it to be repaired and returned in the same working order it was before the destructive firmware was implemented.
Regards Adrian
