Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, 3 months old, falling apart.

hi,

i have a fairly new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, upon upgrading from the Galaxy S5 ,3 months ago i was certain that i would recieve the best value for my money, concenience and overall quality if i had purchased the BEST mobile device on the market. For me, this was a price i was willing to pay.

Turns out the device isn't what i expected. worst of all, samsung support is saying i have to place myself in a huge inconvenience to have it repaired. i dont want this device repaired. i want it replaced. i refuse to have a device that is 3 months old, "repaired" from a factory fault, and have the risk of failure again to restart the process.

Samsung is soley responsbile for the defect in this device, there isnt anything i am aware of, that i could do, to make the device split inhalf. The irremovable back cover is pealing off my new device. its probably not water proof anymore, which was one of the key advertising points and therefore one of the key reasons i bought this device.

It is therefore Samsungs responsibility to inspect the device( as required by SAMSUNG internal policy), transfer my data and issue me with a new device, on YOUR inconvenience not mine. It is the Samsung internal policy that has requirements, and i remind you that i am NOT subject to delegation by the Samsung internal policy, i remind you that i am the client.

Samsung support suggests the only way to repair it, is to drive atleast 2 hours to the nearest repair centre. So this means 2 hours there, then 2 hours back, and about 2 hours spent at the repair centre. So in order to get what i have already paid for , i need to allow Samsung to either consume my saturday morning, or i will have to submit a leave form, and let it consume a working day. Ofcourse, at my cost, at my time, at my inconveneince. "Rethink what a phone can do"...

i must say, the Samsung website is rather accurate with this device, "We're completely changing how you'll share experiences and memories. We're doing that by shattering the boundaries of what a phone can do. And it's the biggest thing to happen to phones. Ever."
