Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge problems

I've had so many issues with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge it’s actually ridiculous. I've been to the customer care centre for the 1st time within 2 months of purchasing a brand new device for R 13 500.00 which Samsung replaced the device, however subsequently I have been to the customer care centre 4 times from September 2015 to date for the replacement device. All they ever do is book the device in to be repaired. For more than 3 times now the device is booked in for the same issues. I have to wait more than 1 week for the device to be assessed and I have to call Samsung countless times to enquire what is going on with my device and what are they going to do about it. Samsung doesn’t even have the courtesy of informing me the progress of my device. When a device is continuously been brought in for the same issues, clearly there must be a fault with the device. Why assess it when you can see from your records that there is a genuine problem. I took the device in on 23 September 2016 after which it took Samsung over 7 days and many phone calls from me in order for Samsung to give me a Job number and the issue with the device and over 2 weeks to inform me the status of my device and that my device is ready for collection. Samsung changed the Motherboard on this occasion because they picked up a problem. I used the device for over 1 month which I experienced the same problems, I then took the device in again on 18 November 2016 for the same issues as previously. I spoke to a lady informing her about the issue I’ve been having with my device after which I handed the device over to her and she complimented me by saying this device still looks brand new. I enquired from her if I could speak to the manager as I was tired of bringing in the device every few months with the same issues, she informed me that I could not speak to the manager however I could speak to a gentlemen by the name of Martin. I then spoke to him and informed him about my situation and that I would like to speak to someone in management which he also informed me that I could not speak to a manager and that he would assist me. He then took my device from me and went to the back office for a few minutes and then walked out the store with my device in his hand without even informing me that he was leaving the store, he then returned after about 15 minutes and handed the device to me and left to the back office. I then noticed a crack on the screen and enquired from the lady what did Martin do with my device as it now has a crack on the screen, he then informed me that I gave him the device with a crack on the screen which I denied as the lady that seen my device when I entered would’ve noticed a crack on the screen and she wouldn’t have complimented me by saying this device still looks brand new.

I called Samsung on 23 November 2016 and spoke to Martin enquiring from him what is the status of my device which he then informed me he would call me by the end of the day to inform me what is going on with the device and what Samsung will be doing about the device. Today is 24 November 2016 and I have still not received a call from Martin or any employee of Samsung informing me on the status of my device. Had I known this was going to be the issue with this device and the poor service from the customer care centre I wouldn’t have purchased this device.

In Summary:

I have purchased a device which has not served its purpose for at least 70% of me possessing this device due to battery issues, network issues and constant visits to the Samsung Customer centre. Been a long term and loyal Samsung brand supporter, owning many Samsung products, I am losing my confidence in the Samsung brand.

As usual I am now forced to use another device as my Galaxy S6 Edge device is with Samsung once again.

The END

Hi

I have received a call from a lady Ramona on Friday 25 November 2016 at 10:37am enquiring on my complaint, she than said she is going to call te call centre and then will call me back. She then called me at 10:56am informing me that she was unable to get hold of Martin and she would inform me during the course of the day with regards to the progress of my device.

To date 29 November 2016 I have not received any call from Ramona or any Samsung employee. I have called the customer care number ********** yesterday 28 November 2016 and today 29 November 2016 and was informed that Ramona is not available. I then requested to speak to her manager which i held on for 15 Minutes and no one answerwed the call.

This is pathetic service from Samsung. I have now handed in my device alrady 7 working days and have not even received a Job number or a call from any employee, therefore this means to me that samsung has not even looked at my device.
