Samsung Galaxy J1 - spontaneously cracked screen

My wife bought this Samsung Galaxy J1 less than 1 month ago from American Swiss.<br> She is a mature responsible person of 55.<br> Although it sounds hard to believe she had NOT dropped the phone during this entire time - she is ultra careful with these things - she left the phone on the table in our lounge and on return 2 minutes later the screen had a small crack across the bottom right corner! We have no pets and nobody else was in the house.<br> So - you say the phone MUST have been dropped - but it was not.<br> This in our view damages the reputation of Samsung as they will not take responsibility for it - I for one will not buy Samsung again unless they rectify this problem under warrantee.<br> As soon as I saw this I took macro photographs of the crack with my DSLR showing the date and purchase date - you can see there is no physical damage or scratch to the phone.<br> <br>
