SAMSUNG GALAXY A50 NOT CHARGING

My new Samsung A50 goes blank and does not charge. i am not very happy. my phone is not even a year old. i bought mine from Vodacom Galleria mall. i have always been a Samsung user. highly disappointed because i have this phone on contract and im paying for something that im not utilising.
