Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 - taking all my wifi data!!

I've been to Constantia Kloof Samsung shop, Vodaworld Midrand - both Vodacom customer care and Samsung; I've called Vodacom and Samsung countless times as well...

And no one can help me.

I bought this new phone on contract around 4 months ago, and ever since the Android Operating System will take ALL of my data when I connect to a wi-fi device. I'm talking about 10GB that goes within one day without even using my cellphone.

It clearly indicates that the operating system is using background data on my wi-fi option.

Multiple "service consultants" and "technicians" looked into this asking me the same questions. After an hour's discussion and checking settings that everyone else has checked before, we end up with the result of the cellphone's operating system that needs to be re-downloaded.

When I ask where I can go to, to download the operating system - no one knows for sure.

I am done with losing all my wi-fi data on the routers and I am done with using all my money for transport purposes to get to a shop who will be able to help me. And this for a cellphone which is not even working properly!

Will this solution help me? When I eventually find a shop that can re-download this operating system?

Or do I demand a new cellphone? One thing is for sure - when this is sorted - eventually - I want my lost data refunded!
