Samsung flip phone split right in the middle

I bought a Samsung Z4 flip for R14 000 18 months old. The warranty period is 24 months. The screen went faulty when the phone was less than 1 year old. They repaired the screen under warranty. A few months later the screen has again cracked right down the middle where the phone folds and Samsung is refusing to repair it. They say the warranty lapsed because there was screen damage due to phone having been dropped. This damage is clearly due to the fold. They have manufactured a screen that cannot withstand folding and they are refusing to fix it and blaming it on warranty policy technicalities. It's literally separating into 2 separate pieces and it's not even 2 years old. R14 000 I spent and have nothing to show for it in less than 2 years. I hate iPhone, but Samsung is forcing my hand to buy an iPhone.
