Samsung false advertising.
I upgraded my phone in November 2020 choosing a specific package BECAUSE it came with a Samsung TV. I have now been struggling for 6 months to get my TV. I have emailed and phoned and posted on Twitter, used the online CHAT and NOT ONE PERSON HAS EVEN COME BACK TO ME! Today for the first time when I followed up AGAIN I was told that I am now on the shipping list and delivery will happen in 7-14 days. Since I have been told this before, I don't believe it.
I even complained to the Advertising Standards Board and they say they cannot force anyone to honour their promises, only remove the advert. When you sign a contract with Vodacom because it includes a free TV bit is not a promise anymore but a contractual agreement.
In my house, we have a Samsung fridge, 2 Samsung TVs, 2 Samsung sound bars, 3 Samsung phones and 3 Samsung tablets. These will be the last Samsung products my family spends money on.
SAMSUNG IS DISHONEST !!!

I have received the TV yesterday - 7 Days after my complaint. Thank you for resolving this - it is a pity it became an issue but I appreciate the quick action after this posting.
