Samsung Ecobubble Washing Machine Door Defect
I purchased a Samsung 9 Kg Ecobubble Washing Machine from Hirsch in April 2017. The machine started to leak very slightly at the bottom of the door around January 2019. At first I assumed that this was the rubber housing and reported the matter to the Samsung Technical Center whom promised to send a technician to assist which I never heard from. I did not persue the matter due to my busy schedule and re**** upon Samsung to get back to me.
Recently whilst my **** was doing laundry, the amount of water that leaked has considerably increased. I then closely inspected the unit and found that it has developed a hairline (fine) crack on the internal Addwash chamber.
This is a Samsung manufacturing defect as the crack is on the internal plastic casing of the Addwash chamber.
I then followed up with Samsung again and was now told that the product is no longer covered by warranty albeit the fact that I reported it prior to the warranty expiring.
I then contacted TM Electronics whom advised that I order the entire door as the part does not come as a sub-assembly. I then ordered and paid for the door only to wait over two weeks for the door to arrive after numerous follow ups and complaints.
I am highly disgruntled with the poor/ inferior quality component and service from Samsung and TM Electronics.
I have purchased most of my home appliances from Samsung and I am definitely not a Samsung fan any longer.
Regards
Vimal
