Samsung Durban Chaos

On the 13 August 2015 I took my Samsung S4 to the Samsung Store in Pietermaritzburg for a screen replacement. I was told the phone had to be sent to Durban and that it would be ready within 5 to 7 days. It is now some FORTY SEVEN days later. When I started to make follow ups on progress - because there was absolutely NO feedback given - I was told that the phone had been lost...either in PMB or in Durban. I received repeated promises that the matter would be looked into. Eventually last week my wife was advised by Samsung PMB that they had given Samsung Durban a deadline of 16:30 0n 25 September to either come up with a replacement phone or my phone fixed. No surprises, but that undertaking has not been honoured! Instead we received a call on the 25th Sept to advise us that Samsung Durban had found THREE HUNDRED unallocated phones and possibly one was mine but that they needed to sift through them and we would be advised by Monday 28th Sept. Again, no phone call. This is customer service at its most atrocious. Virtually every undertaking by the Pietermaritzburg agent to phone back with info or progress was not met.. Never again a Samsung product.! No confidence in them.
