Samsung doesn't want to swap a 65 inch tv I go a month with a bigger screen which I want to pay even more money for

I recently purchased a 65-inch 8K Neo QLED TV from Samsung on July 5, 2024, which was delivered on July 11, 2024. I chose the 65-inch model because I initially thought it would suit the space I had in mind. Previously, I owned two Samsung TVs, one 70-inch and the other 75-inch. This time, I decided to go for a 65-inch model, a decision I now regret.

After realizing my mistake, I reached out to Samsung both online and in-store, only to be informed that the return policy is 14 days, and nothing could be done to help me. I was hoping to upgrade to the 75-inch model by paying the price difference, instead of having to buy another expensive tv simple because of the size

I have been a loyal Samsung customer, purchasing all my appliances from the Samsung Mall of Africa store and Hirsch's Fourways—always paying in cash. In the last two years, I gave away my 4K 70-inch and 75-inch TVs i bought from the same Samsung in Mall of Africa. Last year, I purchased the Q990B soundbar, two 4K TVs I gave away a fridge, the ultra S22 , and two microwaves...all of these cash. Just last month, I bought the Samsung AI washing machine for R12,000 from Samsung online, had my phone screen repaired for R8,300 at Samsung Mall of Africa, bought an LG fridge for R17,000, and a Brabantia ironing board for R1,999 from Hirsch's Fourways, a Samsung affiliate store. The LG fridge was the first appliance I purchased ,recommended at the store, that wasn’t from Samsung.

Despite all this, I am told that my request to exchange a TV purchased just over a month ago—while offering to pay more for an upgrade—is being denied because the return policy is 14 days. This is beyond frustrating. It’s shocking that a company I have supported so extensively can’t make an exception for a loyal customer, especially when I am willing to spend even more money. Frankly, this experience has been deeply disappointing. No wonder Hirsch's recommended an LG fridge to me. This is unacceptable customer service. What kind of company refuses to accommodate a request like this, especially when it involves purchasing a more expensive product?
