Samsung doesn't believe it has a faulty product
I used a new Samsung J5 mobile phone for 3 months before a the screen went dead. On close inspection there as a tiny crack on the LCD just next to the power button.

I thought it would not be a problem to take the phone to Cell C - the distributor - who took it in for technical evaluation and said Samsung would not replace even though the device was under a 24 month warranty.
The quote was half the value of a new handset - I chose to have the handset returned instead of repaired.
I then took the handset (still broken) to a Samsung shop - they did not take the device but referred me to an official repair centre. I got the same response from them, this time the quote was even more expensive - and Samsung would not cover it. Again I had to decline the quote as I don't believe I should pay for what should be under warranty.
My handset was not the only Samsung device at the repair centre with that fault.

I have googled and found that this fracture occurs with various Samsung phones in the same way mine did.
Will Samsung admit this a product fault and replace?
