Samsung Dishwasher and products poorly made and prone to rusting.

I bought a DMS600TIX dishwasher a few years back. Last year it suddenly gave the ghost. Up until then I was a bachelor and the machine was only used once a week. Treated and cleaned it regularly. Left it open so that any water could evaporate. It gave the ghost irrespective. I took ot to the place where I bought it and said it’s a malfunctioning inlet valve. They replaced it. New problem. It was unable to build pressure and stopped at the point where the motor needs to kick in.... the service repairman said it was broken and that he would write it off. I took it to someone that knew what he was doing. We stripped all the panels and started troubleshooting. Water was pouring from to bottom waterwall were the filter and sieve sits and onto the motor. At first we thought it was the seal. Inspected that and found no problem. On closer investigation we noticed rust and small pinhole sized holes where the filter sieve’s corners damaged the waterwall. We patched the holes, and left the machine to completely dry for 24 hours, now the machine worked up to the part were the motor that drives the pump needed to kick in. Smell of a motor that wants to turn but is not able to. On closer inspection the motor was ****ed from all the water spilling onto it... Now my question is, and I hope Samsung can help me here, how is it possible that a stainless steel waterwall is able to rust? How do you manage to put in filter sieve that is so poorly manufactured that it can puncture a stainless steel drum. I inspected all your dishwashers and the same poor build quality is visible in all these metal sieves. The edge rounded with jagged edges and no rubber fitted to protect the waterwall? Where the side and middle waterwall meets there is also rust... stainless steel that rust? How the **** is this possible?

So after my lenghty explanation about my problem this is the response I got from the Samsung technician... Good day Mr. Horn Please see below the feedback from the technical team. Please assist, Customer is asking why is the drum in the dishwasher rusting. – not heating , not drying. If there a metal inside, it will eventually rust and eat up then cause rust Samsung I’m a geologist and know a bit about metals, good quality stainless steel do not ****ing rust - ever or in this case a mere 7 years. The worst that will happen is that it may stain. Why is there a sieve at the bottom of the machine.- to collect the food pieces or bones, in case they are residues that are left by mistake Samsung I ****ing know it collects food. That was never the question. My question was, why is it so poorly made that rough edges left, as part of a poor manufacturing process, is able to puncture the waterwall and spill water onto the motor. The sieve is made of a very weak material, it has got no rubber, water from it runs to the motor of the machine.- cause if there was a seal, water won’t go through Samsung, this reply was your best (*** grammar and all). What precisely do you mean? That the sieve is permeable? I ****ing know this. My question was why wasn’t a rubber seal developed that would fit around the sieves edges to protect the waterwall from a part that was and still is poorly manufactured? Sieve touches the drum when it’s not supposed to. – it’s not possible unless if the spray arms are not inserted properly Samsung, please se previous reply. I could not answer any of these questions. Kind Regards, Name Witheld VOC Consultant: Service Division Tel: ********** Samsung please see my replies to your so called technicians. From this I gather that you must be taking the ****, think your customers are stupid or your technicians must be total *****s. Since I’m not stupid it must either of the other two explanations.
