Samsung disgusting customer care.

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A50 around March last year. Around mid December 2020 the phone started randomly switching off with no obvious causation. Under 24 month warranty I sent the phone in to Samsung at Eastgate for repairs. Two days later they stated the phone was ready for collection - but I returned it the same day as the issue was still not fixed. I then returned around three days later to collect it for the second time but soon after found out the issue was yet again not fixed.

I contacted Samsung customer care and was told that I should have received an assessment for each time I collected the device stating what was wrong and what was repaired - I received no such thing from this branch for either time I collected the device.

I returned for a third time to this branch demanding a new phone as this phone is obviously faulty and it is clear to see that they do not know what is actually wrong with the device and what to repair. They did a test and provided me with two sheets of paper showing the tests on various aspects of the phone and how each test was passed meaning the phone is in working condition - which it obviously is not otherwise I would not be writing this review and returning to this branch for the third time.

I was told to go to whom I purchased the device from (Incredible Connection) and they must fix it, as this branch cannot detect the problem. If an official Samsung store is unable to decipher what the issue is with the phone - what exactly would another store be able to do?

The Samsung service was absolutely shocking and surely if a device which is faulty cannot be repaired it should rather be replaced?
