Samsung device horror!!!!!!!!_never again will i purchase a Samsung mobile device

On 09/02/2019 i bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab E from Game North-riding for my then 9 year old daughter as a well deserved birthday gift .The tablet was bought for both home and school use whenever the need arises.Little did i know that Samsung had sold us a dud instrument .With the advent of the COVID-19 and the resultant nationwide Lock-down my daughter's school switched to online learning which required her to use MS Teams to access the school content as well as Microsoft Word and Excel. To our horror it turns out that this Samsung Tab is not compatible with any of these Microsoft applications. This is so pathetic of Samsung as no one at Game Bel-Air Shopping Centre, North Riding where we bought the device explained such flimsy limitations of the Samsung Tab E device when we bought it.I find this to be so pathetic that Samsung can sell a tablet which at that point retailed well over R4000 yet this device can only be used to play You Tube videos and perform a few basic cellular funtions. To make matters worse, until recently ,i had been using a Samsung S4 cellphone which i bought over 10 years and this old cellular phone does have MS Word and Excel functionality. This is absurd of Samsung as a global brand to say the least. A few weeks back my daughter and I took the Tab E to the Samsung store @ Clearwater Mall with the hope that they could do a software update or anything in the interim and the salesperson and technician who assessed my daughter's tablet basically said there is "nothing we can do"!!!!

This is the last time i will ever purchase a Samsung device given such limited product performance functionality.Good bye Samsung.I would rather stick to Apple devices .

Thank you Samsung for your useless gadget!!!!!!

As of 25/08/2020 21h21,Samsung has not addressed my complaint in any satisfactory way i do believe all i am getting is excuses as they have requested the IMEI number and Operating system of the gadget twice in almost 2 weeks 18/08/2020 and now on 21/8/2020) and despite providing these details telephonically on 24/08/2020 they again requested to have this information on email. This is poor service Samsung.
