SAMSUNG could'nt fix my SAMSUNG Flatscreen...so SONY could and did...

<p>My 42 inch Samsung flatscreen bombed out after 4 years...it kept going black with only audio still on after 5min or so of being switched-on. You switch it off and it comes on again only to have the same problem.</p> <p> </p> <p>I took it to Samsung in Durban only to be told that the motherboard is fryed....they cant fix it because Samsung has discontinued that motherboard (the tv is 4 years old!). I found it rediculous that a tv only lasts 4 years and you can't fix it...i got told its old and i need to buy a new set!</p> <p> </p> <p>I then decided to visit SONY repair who welcomed me with open arms and fixed my Tv for me....I could hardly believe Sony working on my TV and ontop of that fixing it....</p> <p> </p> <p>I used to be a fan of Samsung but since this experiance and my Mobile Phone bombing-out (Liquid damage supposedly..never having touched water mind you)....I am quite weary to ever buy another SAMSUNG product....</p> <p> </p> <p>they look good with all the features and such but give it 3-4 years if that and Bang...and then we cant help you buy another....</p> <p> </p> <p>Sony on the other hand....i might give them a try since they can fix SAMSUNG....</p>
