Samsung Cellphones - Poor quality
I bought my SamsungS9+ about 8 months ago through a vodacom contract. After about 7 months, my phone did not want to charge all the time. Very often it will show that the phone had moisture damage, although the phone was very well maintained. After 8 months it did not want to charge at all anymore. Samsung used to be good. Myself, wife and all 3 my children is just using Samsung. I had the S3, S5 and S7 before. My wife had S4 and S6 before. My daughter, 16, still in the house has the J7 Prime. My wife has the S8 now, also with similar charging issues. Samsung used to be good, but their quality has definitely deteriated recently. My daughter's contract is due at the end of December and she will definitely go for the I-phone or Huawei. My next phone will also be a Huawei, so the rest of my family. My S9+ just came back from repairs under warranty that took 3 weeks to repair. The best of all is that vodacom removed my screen protector when it was fix and I now need to replace it at my own cost of R499. My advice to you hard working people is to stay away from Samsung, cause you will save yourselves a lot of frustation and costs
