Samsung cannot repair their own TV's but TV and Video Doctor in Pretoria can.
Took my 55" Samsung Plasma TV to Samsung Repair Center in Rivonia was charged R200 for an assessment and then told a few day later they no longer carry spares for these TV's. They could have told me that before I booked it in. I then contacted Samsung South Africa only to be told after a number of calls that they could not help either. I will say their service was good even if there was no result. I then took my TV to TV and Video Doctor in Pretoria and they repaired my TV in 1 day at a very reasonable cost. If your Samsung breaks and it's out of guarantee don't take it to the agents go direct to TV and Video Doctor - better service and they can actually fix these TV's
