Samsung Buy&Get Promotion Misleading and False

Be aware of the current Samsung Buy&Get Promotions. Their indications on the promotion items is misleading. We bought a Samsung Freezer. The promotion label on the item gives you the impression that you will be receiving a R3 000 Reward. Nothing mentioned giving one an indication that it is split over a period of time, not all at once. Everybody I have show this promotion to were under the impression that it is a once off R3 000 Reward. After purchasing the Freezer it were a whole mission to get registered to only then find out that it is split over four quarters at R750 each. Just feel that this should have been brought to our attention before purchasing the product. I cannot blame the sales person at the retailer where we bought the freezer not informing us as I am sure this information intensely get withheld from them as well. Even Samsung employees are not fami**** with how this so called promotion works. The first employee we spoke to referred us to the terms and conditions which is four vouchers of R750 per quarter. The second person said once we have registered we will receive three voucher, one for November, one for December and one for January. After all the frustration and aggravation for two weeks to get these vouchers redeemed I went into the store as I know that Samsung have a representative on their floor to assist customers. As Samsung got me and my wife's details mixed up even this Samsung employee struggled to get to the point that we can redeem the voucher. Getting to this point I were able to redeem only a R250 voucher which I refused to do. I demanded that he find out how this now actually works. He phoned his trainer and after speaking to him the employee informed me that it is not 4x R750 voucher but 12x R250 voucher over a year. Where we were under the impression that we will receive a R3 000 once off reward it will now take a year before we received the full reward. This is information that should have been brought to ones attention before purchasing these products as this would definitely have influenced our decisions. They will not let us return the freezer and should they agree to it they say there will be a handing fee. No average person is reading promotion terms and conditions before purchasing a product. I strongly feel that this Samsung Buy&Get promotion is false and misleading and that we should be allowed to return this freezer without any penalties payable. If all this promotion term and condition were revealed and explained to us before hand we never would have made the decisions to purchase the Samsung and would have bought an AEG. We bought the Samsung as we were mislead by making us think it is a better deal.
