Samsung bad review

My Samsung Flip 4 is just over a year old and started giving me issues. When I flip it close the phone shuts down for a restart and overheats. I took it in as it is under warranty. They advised because my phone shows signs of wear and tear (meaning a tiny scratch at the hinge), they will not repair it. I asked so if you assess and see the problem has nothing to do with the small scratch you will not fix and they said exactly. I would not have my phone assessed if I knew or thought it fell etc, I am frustrated with the ******* Samsung is as always believed in other brands for the first time buying a Samsung they proved me right. Meanwhile this phone was heating up since I got it and they told me no it is because of background apps I must not worry. Not I have this issue and they didnt check it out at that time and now want me to pay to repair it. This is daylight *******!.
