Samsung and We Fix bad service.

On the 6th July I handed my Samsung S8 plus in by Samsung Tygervalley to have the screen replaced. I was told it would take 7 days and over R4500.00 to order parts and have it replaced. After accepting the quote I got a daily message from We Fix (obviously where Samsung sent it) notifying me of the parts that was on order. After a week the notifications stopped. I then phoned on the week of the 16th only to hear that the phone was at We Fix Canal Walk still waiting for parts. Although shocked to think they could not get parts for one of the popular phones, I left it for another week. Still with no calls from anyone I phoned again on the 24th and 26th and was told the same thing on both occasions, that they would check on it and get back to me. No one got back to me ever. The last phone call I was told that it couldn't possibly take this long to get a part and that they would search for a part elsewhere. It has been another week and still no notifications or call from anyone. Pathetic service. When I handed my phone in I also requested they please do not wipe My phone and it had to be quick as I have all different banking apps for banking authorizations for My businesses and important information saved as well. It has been a complete inconvenience not having the phone for over 4 weeks. My advise is to use another repair centre with better service and that is not so expensive at the same time. We Fix & Samsung, after years of loyalty to your brand, I am very disappointed and this questions my next make of phone.
